City of Sarajevo and the artists who played a critical role in forming and promoting of its international art scene are in need of a commercial gallery of contemporary art which is able to reflect in the most adequate way the position, importance and value these artists, their artistic and social activism, their artworks have on an international level.
The mission of the gallery "JAVA" is to form a collection and establish the market of contemporary art signed by the most relevant authors of Bosnia and Herzegovina today. By succeeding in this, all the local and international admirers and collectors of contemporary art will finally be able to acquire certified artworks of our internationally renowned names in one place.
